Well you still have to mask the windows for both the inside and outside coats of paint, plus the headlights or anything else you want to stay clear. This looks like it will get you to the look you want.

Tamiya PS-55 clear matte.

Alright, thanks for ALL your guy's help. Once I have money I'll have to go pick up that Pegasus body.

I have a can of Fusion(2328 red pepper). On June 30 I took a piece of scrap Lexan, washed it after scuffing it with a green dishwashing pad and painted it with the Fusion. After it dried completely(1 week) I flexed it. It held on fine, I just flexed it again and it is still ok. The next step is to shoot a body. If this stuff works-goodby expensive Lexan paint! Don

I painted the hood of my 'Cuda with Fusion satin black. It has held up very well.
The body has seen some abuse too. The fenders are taped back on right now. LOL

Hmmm I remember that body and I'm not 100% sure that was a PS-55 deal...but it looked good though. PS-55 is not as dull as that.

RE: masking the windows etc..

As long long as you have not removed the clear over spray film thats on the outside of the body... you just need to cut out the areas you want to paint from the clear over spray film.

That Evo looks like its painted on the outside....maybe with the Dupli-color Automotive paint....it has the same finish that I have on the Mustang that I posted a picture of.

Here is another picture of another body painted with that Dupli-color paint....

I saw it posted on groovydrift. I am pretty sure thats how the owner said to do it. Maybe I misunderstood.
