The Cuda is discontinued. A buddy of mine is building a car right now and looked all over for one. Had to get the Challenger.

I tried to special order one today at my LHS and was told that HPI #17510 - 1970 Plymouth AAR 'Cuda 200mm Body is not available and has been discontinued.

That is sad. At least I have one that's painted and stickered to look like Dan Gurney's #48 Hot Wheels 'Cuda from the 1970 and 1971 Trans-Am Race Season. It's going to be a shelf queen forever.

I love that body David. Really does suck on the body being discontinued.... Was my body of choice.

I have to say again.... WTF HPI!! They still do other Mopar bodies (at least right now) so why is this one different?

A matched set for a local race team. Not quite "vintage" but still a race theme.

I'm wondering if the CUDA body licensing came due, and HPI or the license holder opted not to renew it - and under the licensing agreement can no longer make the bodies????

Meradin, those Camaro are nice and would look at home in the Touring Cars Masters series that is raced in Australia.

Here is a link to the homepage - (http://www.touringcarmasters.com.au/)
& photo gallery - (http://www.touringcarmasters.com.au/...3/gallery.html)

If you are looking for some different paint schemes for your favorite VTA shell (such as Javelins), check out the cars.

Indy, thanks! I'll have to look through those images for my next car. Kinda have an idea in my head as I was sitting eating some ribs the other day. Can decide if I want to do another rusty car or "regular" old one.

A box showed up from Gary today at my house (for a buddy) - he ordered two of these and I'm working on some decals to dress them up.

Here's the 1st draft roughed in on paper

...got a couple other ideas I'm playing with too...

Do you know how light that body is compared to the Protoform J71?
