I've had the "black dust" issue come up before. I chalked it up to a static electricity. The body can become charged and the atomized paint will be attracted to it in random patterns. Or I could be losing my mind.

So do any of you guys paint as like a side job or somethin. I know that I suck at painting and cutting bodies but wouldnt mind payin something to have a cool looking shell.

hmm, i thought of static electricity too, can the problem be i used a "toilet-paper" soaked in denatured alcohol to clean the body? Shouldänt be that either cuz i've been doing that for years..

I finally had time to paint something for myself (thanks to some inspiration from Takashima) had some fun with this one!!

Here is a tip, I keep a clean(preferable new) terry towel handy and some denatured alcohol. After spraying a darker color, then before the next lighter color in the same area, wipe it out gently with a slightly dampened towel and alcohol.....It won't remove paint, only overpsray if you wait until it has dried(about 1/2 hour for Pactra).
