Do you need bond all in the auto air paints? And do you need to thin them or spray right out of the bottle?

No, and spray 'em straight. Just make sure you shake 'em well first though. The newer AutoAir colours are including shaker-marbles for a reason.. especially the funkier 'sparkle' variants.

Actually as to bond-all, I've used the original Createx T-shirt colours for years and never used it, never needed it. All that's really required is a good clearcoat and plenty of cure time. If you're in a big hurry you could use the catalyst and bond-all, but it's fiddly to mix.. I tried it once and the paint actually gelled right in the airbrush reservoir. Haven't bothered since.

Of course, all advice is worth exactly what you pay for it.

Cheers,
KMaynes

A couple of years ago, someone made a touring car body template using Illustrator. Maybe it was you Charlie.

Can someone post it here or email it to me?

Thanks,

THanks for that one daniz24, but the one I was thinking of was a perspective shot, if you know what I mean.

I know what you are talking about. I haven't seen that in a long time.

I knew the person who made it through the HPI forums, and hosted a file for someone else after he doodle'd on it, but I havent seen it for quite some time. I don't even have a copy of either on the server.
