The green frankenbat is all hand painted inside the lexan with a fine brush. When the brush has less paint it is easy to dry brush streaks and lines. The green is airbrushed in.

You can get finer lines with a brush than one of those oil paint sharpees.

my first go with a decent rig and liquid mask. I could use some practice with the exacto, but I think I did a good job

Ok, not a crazy custom paint job, but I like how it turned out. Just the hood in black and the body in a special neon metallic orange thing I did using layers of different paint. This is my Vintage Trans Am car and it is ORANGE! HPI 1969 Camaro Z28 body on a great running TC3 chassis. I was going to do a flat black hood, but with the Novak decals being shiny, I didn't think that would look good so I left it as is.

Here are a couple I did for a guy and his nephew. I had a lot of fun with the venom one. It was my first attempt and using a brush. It turned out good but took for ever. I wish I had more time to photograph them, the cell phone pics dont do it any justice.

Awesome work on the Venom body! Looks like it is right out of the comic.

Indy...That is awesome! It's almost like my childhood memories are funneled through for those colors...aka the Dukes of Hazzard. Simple schmimple...It just looks bad ass!

KainK...wow dude! The venom one is nuts especially. Where are you for these painting contests?!?

Thanks Guys!! Sketch, I tried to get it done before wednesday night but the brush painting took WAY to long. I think I went a little overboard on the detail but I really wanted to go for the comic book look. It was a for one of my really good customers who was going to the Spektrum race at Trackside so I didnt really want to rush it and screw it up.
