hmm im not sure.. id rather just stick with steel at 46t for reliability.. the extra two teeth arent that much faster and/or you can just go up in pinion

Default TRF801 GTe picts

Big fat battery tray is for the LiFePo4 5S.. they're big batts and heavy. For racing, I will most likely go with LiPo

It should hold up maybe your mesh was not close enough. I have ran 6s in a DM1 and Ultra GTPe and have not strip one yet.

You were using the Kyosho gear? If so that you mean the Ofna 40T steel has same distance holes as kyosho

I was shopping for some other parts for my scrt 10 and when I went to nitrohouse I was presented with the GTP 2e which is $210. I was originally setting aside $$$ and parts to do an OFNA DM-1 Spec conversion. Been watching the Tekno guys at our local races. Right now I have a 2050Kv 1512 2.5D Tekno/Neu motor, and MMpro. Was just waiting on the car and now this thing pops up. It looks promising but it appears to not have a center diff, nor does it appear that it could be configured for mechanical brakes. I'd like to run the electri-clutch or traktion drive. Should I go the GTP 2e route, or should I just wait and spend the extra on the DM1 and conversion kit?

Thanks,
Mark

This is very interesting, and reminded me of a option that i had looked into earlier.. Im on the market no for a used gt2, and just for a used roller im looking at $200, i found one with electric conversion and tekin motor/esc combo for maybe $400.. But with this kit (i had looked at the dirt oval kit which is very similar) i can have brand new stuff. I just read and found out that the ring & pinion gear is 43/13 too which is great!

Any other opinions on this? Im wondering how it compares length, width, and weight wise.
And what is the difference between the GTP and the DM-1 kits?

Mark:

The GTP can be configured anyway that you like. You can removed the fixed gear hub and drop a centre diff from an Ofna buggy. To add mechanical brakes is easy, you just need to add servo and buy the cam, disk and pads from the GTP nitro version.

As for the electric clutch you would have to remove the centre bulkhead motor mount and get the nitro version. Then by a tekno motor mount, drill holes in the chassis and you are good to go.

Anything is possible with these chassis!

Send an email to PMT tyre and see who they have as a distributor out in signapore or neighbouring country.

[email protected]

do i need these shock mounts to make them lower?

my shock collar is already at the highest but the car is still quite high.

or DM-1 shocks are shorter?
