The "live" updates on the Molzer Mowery site were great if you followed the updates while the race(s) were happening. Mike Swauger had a good day...

Rams RC Club

Looks like the RAMS RC Club started their season with their first Club Race yesterday.
And according to their website schedule, the next time their racing 1/8th scale is
on the 29th of this February.

Can anyone please confirm this info....???
It would be nice to join you guys' club races and get some track
time before the 1/8th Scale Nationals in JULY.

Thanks in advance for any help/info.

Yes, the 29th will be our first points race and we should have a good turnout. All the club race information you need should be on the site (http://www.rams-rc.com), but if you have any questions then feel free to post them here. More Nationals information will be posted later this week.

I sure hope to, I still need to get some stuff for the car.

Servos, body, reciever pack and some small peices. Oh yea a boat load of tires

I got a C5 stocker yesterday I figure its a good engine to learn the car with, may not be as fast as JP or others.

Ron,

Plan the field trip...I think there's a lot of people that would love to go and run. Rent the school bus and load it up.

With a c5 stocker you got your handsfull for a starter. It's a very powerfull stockmotor like all RB-engines it's a superb engine.

I run a c4 ( got 2 ) in a 950r and they run fast and reliable and they are easy to tune for racing. The powerband comes in easy compared to other engines.

Yup,

Looks like thats what we need to do. Attendance will most
likely be packed! I know several guys from the Winternats
are planning to do the same.

Another event we need to plan for is this coming Texas Biggie.
They have a new track layed out for it. Fresh asphalt and all.!

Chris, Ron, and other SoCal guys. Make note that the nats were moved to the end of July. This is not yet reflected on the ROAR site but it is mentioned at http://www.rams-rc.com
