I’ve read that what was done in the video. I used to do that with Touring cars. The SkyRC data logger is identical. I also did it with the Losi6 and XO1. Didn’t seem to effect those cars but open wheel style like this it probably has some effect

Don’t get me wrong. I would probably put the gps wherever it would fit as well. It was just funny to me how he talked about how the aerodynamics were so important, then proceeds to completely ruin it with the gps!!😂 he even said he dremeled the rear, then straps that thing on top! How’s he gonna know if all his dremeling did any good if he straps a gps on top of the rear??

I’m sure it affects it. Honestly I don’t really care if it does or not. I just think it’s funny how he was talking about how “important” the aerodynamics are and how Aarma did such a good job with it. Then he starts talking about how he took a dremel to the rear and strapped a gps to the top. I guess he just reengineered the back of a brand new rig.

Aero matters. I won't be strapping GPS to the wing.

Finally checked the video. Haha, he used that data logger.

Somewhere there’s an Arrma designer screaming at the video. Spend 2 years designing something and this guy takes a dremmel to the wing. Before he’s even run it.

Did look smooth running. Though I’m still good with having picked the truck. Something looks out of proportion in the video.

And seriously, over 6 minutes into video before it runs. I get wanting people to watch the whole thing, and give the look under the body. But put a running teaser shot in. Just something that’s always bugged me with most RC videos.

I’ve seen enuff speed run crash video, I know it does. I just don’t know at what speed it becomes a bigger factor.

I normally start having issues around 70mph. Horizon GPS is fairly robust, lol

Probably going to go to hobby shop and see if 4s x 2 plus GPS module will fit.

I'm curious how many parts the car and truck have in common.

I would guess they are the same. The truck body one is RTR with the truck body. The Limitless is just the same but a roller.

I thought limitless wasn't available for some time? Arrma just give some to youtubers or something?

They have done it before. They pick a number of YouTubers and get them vehicles early to help promote it. Most tend to be overly positive. At least with Phil I know get real honest opinion.

So, whats would be best "MOTOR/ESC\ GEARING," Combo setup to get this Baby to go as fast as it can go?

Speed runners don't tend to give up gearing or motor setup....

If you throw a MM2 esc with a 2200kv motor in it with a 29t pinion it'll fly down the road and should hit 100mph if you have the room and ease in to the throttle.
