I *may* have plans to see how far I can get on 4s...my spare motors. At some point I assume I will cave in to getting a few 1/5 TP motors too. Good thing Cordova is not open for orders or I would be really in trouble.

I was just browsing the TP power site and came across this. I guess one has two run two 4s in parallel to feed 380amp to it but hey, 9000w burst on 4s...

You won't get 9000w on 4s dude. As with all motors you only get maximum power if running the maximum voltage the motor can take. In this case it's 5s

True. In any case, 9000w bursts on 5s is still going to call for some quality batteries and a hearty cap pack.

Trying to get my limitless to go 150mph I've toyed with a couple options. I believe i have around 3.5" to work with on the engine as far as what maximum size can i can use. Going with 8s engine. I want maximum power and the components to handle it as i will be racing. A quick take off and a top speed is what i want, so must i sacrifice for 1 or the other. I've been looking at tp motors, rockstar motors and the xlx1 &2 motor. Thinking may something with 2250kv any suggestions would be helly appreciated!
