Default new nova rossi won't start

I'm trying to start the break in process of my nova rossi ll5 .12 motor I have it set at the factory settings etc it will turn over but I don't know if it's the needle setting or the starter box doesn't have enough power I have it running off two 1800mah 7.2v nihm packs I have a gel cell setup for it aswell but will the gel cell have more power out put then the nihm packs sorry it's a new question

Heat up the engine with a hairdryer or a paint heatgun.
If you still have difficulties turn the glowplug 1 turn loose.

It was my stupidity I got the thing fired and I was using a heat gun to get it up to around 150 to 160 I had adjated the wrong screw for the air fuel mixture it had 5.4 venturi in the carb and was totally closed off
