Rumble in the "GT" jungle Nova Rossi Ison .21 GT vs Picco TORQUE .21 EMX-GT

The Novarossi ISON is also a great engine but probably needs to be modified by Murnan for example to be on a par with the Picco out of the box. This is added expense which makes the Picco better value for money in my book.
Either engine is good but I'd go with the Picco for best bang for buck.

The new Picco GT engine is fantastic right out of the box extremely powerful and great fuel milage. Great price Too!

Wouldn't that make the Novarossi the faster engine? Or am I looking at that wrong ?

I have both in my box and will change based on where I'm racing. And as noted above out of the box, the Picco will be better. Send the Ison off to Murnan and you will be VERY HAPPY.

In the GT8 cars, it depends on the track. Short track with much mid to short straights a torque engine will give you better lap times. Open fast track, the RPM will give you more top. I've also used higher RPM engines on tracks with less traction, so it comes out of the corner better. But the big issue with these cars is that these cars are 7 3/4 lbs, so the engine has to be able to move it.

Can you tell me the pros and cons on both engines? And In YOUR honest opinion which engine is the better engine? which is the better quality Engine as wel.... Who or what is "Murnan" as well

So basically what you're saying is that the iSon GT doesn't really have enough torque or the torque like the Picco does..... Then that's why you take it to get mod..... How much dose a mod job cost ?

The Picco has more top end out of the box and is overall a faster engine. I've seen some reliability issues with the Picco so if you are on a tight budget the ISON might be the better choice but if you want all out speed go with the Picco.

well if I can't rely on the specs sheet how am I to determine the engines characteristics (RPM'S & HP)especially if I'm going outside of my COMFORT ZONE?(Ddifferent type of engine that I'm not familiar with) ? basically that's where I'm at...... with there being so many inches out it makes everything so confusing so basically I'm just trying to keep it in the GT zone (Race legal)... if I was to go out of that zone then it would be about the Nova Rossi Flash Rally vs Reds Racing M7T GT ......

Seriously? I take it this is another one of those moments where I don't look at the spec sheet right ? What would make this engine faster than the Flash Rally 9 port ?

You asked for input and then make the statement about the spec sheet above, if you want help listen, if not read the spec sheets.
My reply's have been based on running GT cars from east coast to west coast over the past few years. I have no engine or car sponsors, just giving you my 2 cents.

and why .....
