I am curious if you have ran the Orcan RS3 and if you have tried the 7604 (N2) rod in the Orcan RS3.

Thanks for sharing. I thought the ORCAN was LL3 based, but compared to the max and nova LL3 I came across it is not. I found out it is based on the Rex LR3, an older model that is not very well known. Engine case is squarish, not rounded by the carb like the LL3.

You are right that the LL3 can fit the 7604 rod. LR3 according to ORCAN cannot.

It's really important to check the conrod reguraly on the Orcan engines!.
These little engines are tuned and modified to the edge and the conrod endures loads which it never has been designed for.

I forgot to replace mine after 5 liters and this is what happened during the ENS last weekend:

It was crazy fast though, hitting 110km/h every lap. :D

Unfortunately not, the conrod went through the crankcase and through the side of the piston and sleeve.
It's a real shame, don't think I will ever get a motor as fast as this one was.

Daan, the cranck looks bone dry, maybe try to put some oil with the methanol the next time. will cost you some speed but will last longer.

Yes, engines are not the same.... The RS3CR without bag/pipe are not MH tuned... The RS3MH CR is :-)....
