What are the front bearing sizes? I'll check for you

roger999 03-01-2011 01:09 AM

don't really know, ill have to check it.

roger999 03-02-2011 05:12 AM

Isn't heating up the crankcase the better method, or will this tool not cause damage in the bearing insertion process? I'd love to change bearings without going into the kitchen again, not to mention getting my fingers burnt every now and then...

Cheers.

just had a look at my tool the front bearing adapter will hold a 17.30mm od bearing when you push it out, i needed to make one to suit 18mm for my sirio and nova bearings hope that helps

no need to heat up,removes and installs bearing with no damage to case

roger999 03-10-2011 12:24 AM

so witch one will hold 17.30 mm? You mean that part when bearing is out or that part to push it out? If that one to hold it out then ok, if that one to push then probably is to thick... Can you check size of that part to push it out?

elche_83 03-10-2011 01:08 AM

the 17.3 is what will catch the front bearing when you push it out the shaft to push it out is between 11.4 and 11.3.

roger999 03-10-2011 01:18 AM

ahh great, so should be no problem with that. Tell me, that puller for main bearing is what size? How much it can be bigger to catch main bearing inside when you tight front wheel?

elche_83 03-10-2011 03:00 AM

the puller collet is 11.5mm but will stretch to over 12mm

Hi,

For those who have this tool. Can you let me know which adaptors come with it?

Do I need to buy additional adaptors if I want to primarily use it for my Nova and OS engines?

thank you in advance

sam

OS Speed XZ-R .21 13880 Bearing Size Front and Rear

I am just about to upgrade my OS Speed XZ-R with ceramic bearings and I just wanted to check if these were the correct sizes from BOCA.

The sizes are:

Rear ID 14mm x OD 25.4mm x Width 6mm
Front: ID 7mm x OD 19mm x Width 6mm

I can't find in any manual or online the exact sizes to purchase..
