Murnan rb m3 is hands down the fastest engine on the market in terms of bottomend, midrange, and top end. It also will make runtime with no problem I run up on 8 scale with this motor. A buggy can not keep up with a onroad car. I would like to see a 8 scale nitro buggy keep up with my nt1 ec with Murnan rb m3 or kyosho m3 evo with jp ro9 s black mod I don't see it happening.. My rb m3 is always the fastest .12 engine on the track no matter where I go

Thumbs up

All 3 look pretty good, I'd choose in order of priority: #2, #1, #3.
Also the MaxPower RR3 at $270 available at Nexus or Ashford Hobbies is an excellent choice as well.

If your going to recommend engines why not give a pipe recommendation as well? Having a high quality racing engine w/o the right pipe is like running a normal race car engine on 87 octane pump gas.

I know they great engines but I'm looking to spend around $350 including the pipe.

A little uptight, eh?

Use Nova 2660 (51615) with the short (41615) or medium header (41616)

NOVA PLUS12-3SCT is your best bet. For pipe use Nova 51615 w/ 41615 header.
