This has been working for me. It feels strange to do this the first times, but the benefits are great.
Let me inform you only the conrod is microcasted part, the piston and sleeve aren't.

Let me inform you that you are not correctly informed about that.

A microcasted conrod would pulverize at the third revolution of the crank.

oops... sorry I check novarossi website, yes you are right !!! ... it is the piston which is microcasted.

Anybody know between these manifolds selection ? What are their intention / purpose from short manifold to extra long 7 fins ?

The conicle headers were supposed to be less flowing resistance.... Dunno about the plug, it has shiny on top

Longer manifolds give more bottom end, and less top end. Shorter manifold is the opposite.

The conical manifolds gives you more power with the 'price' of higher fuel compsumption, the straight style (old style manifold) gives you less power but longer runtime.

hi guys...i need some info rgding my novarossi S5 motor....i am intending to drop in a 3port novarossi p/sleeve into it...is there any problem or otherwise....thanks

A conical header has a slight venturi effect, which accelerates the exhaust gases on the way back into the engine.

I have not seen higher fuel consumption with conical headers, but I did have to readjust my carb considerably.

My modified LS3 reacted so strongly to the conical header, that I missed all my turn in points and braking points on my first few laps out.

Question

Hi guys,

What is the difference between N12LS3 and N12LL3? I got two tracks here, one is tight and technical, the other one is fast and furious so I am thinking about which engine to buy. I already have a N12LS3. Should I know buy the LL3? Waiting for your comments on their comparison. Thanks.

i believe that the LL3 is the long stroke engine, and if so would have more low end grunt like the x12 mugen i have, which is i believe the same stroke as this motor.
