I have a P5X and it is a two needle carb. He posted that he has a P5TX which is the turbo version are you saying this is a three needle carb?

Ok Salvadori I have shims, but they are RB shims. I'll put them on and I now have the Byrons fuel. This sucka smells really strong, but the smell outta the exhaust is like fresh cookies out of the oven. . I can't wait to drive them now after I finish installing the rest of items on my car. Thnx again.

My suggestions: for a 30%, go for a #7Tc (Hot), check the size of your chamber (if you run at sea level with a 30% nitro, go at least for a 0.021" chamber height).

Hope this helps

They are usually setup with one shim @ .20mm and one @.10mm. To be safe most engine manufacturs recomend adding a .10mm shim to run 30%. Some people don't make this change and have no problems. But usually the ones that do this know what to look for if there is a problem. Sounds to me like you are just getting started in this hobby. If this is the case and if the two shims that are in you engine now do measure a total of .30mm I would recomend you add the .10mm shim just to be safe or run 25% fuel.
