Mugen is not the US distributor for Novarossi. Fusion Motorsports got the Novarossi line a few months ago. Mugen still has some stuff left, but if not or if you just want to go to the source, try:

What is the difference between Novarossi, Rex and Top engines. I visit novarossi website and they are actually the same engines ( same looks, same technical data, same power ) but with different names / models
Is there something special if someone pick Novarossi instead Rex brand ? |
They are exactly the same. The engines, engine parts, price and performance. ;)

Anyone know what other standard crank will fit the MT12 other than the stock one for it? I have an SG and need the STD so it can work in the NT.

NR, Top and Rex have a 321P, and they are identical. If you look at the engine line ups for each brand side by side you will notice the 321PS, the only difference is it has a larger main bearing. Also the 321PS is only available as a NR. Now Also the latest 21 onroad engine is only available as a NR (plus21-7, plus 21-3), no TOP, no REX... perhaps to avoid confusion. |
"ISO 9001 Certified Quality system"
If you have purchased a Novarossi product within the last year, you will notice that the label on its box marked out. I wiped the marker off with some alcohol to reveal "ISO 9001 Certified Quality System" underneath. It comes on 2 of my engines production year 2004 marked out, and one production year 2003 not marked out.
Interesting... I guess all that matters is that they are fast and durable. |
Yes, interesting.
Now wasn't it in 2003 that they had all those cranks breaking on S3's? Maybe they were so intent on the quality of their management that the engine quality suffered. Glad they didn't bother with that last year. ;) |
Glow Plug?
Hey all, What glow plugs are you using in nsr turbo engines?
I was always a McCoy fan but no turbo plugs as far as I know. Thanks. Tenderfoot |
nova plugs
I have been using novarossi plugs in both my engines for 2 years now and have no complaints. good life and excellent power good value too
my 2 cents |
hi guys, it seems novarossi is releasing a new engine called the N12LS and N12LL. i was wondering what the main difference is between the two motors. i was also wondering the differences between these motors and the old NS/NSR series of motors. thanks

I live in tropical country with high humidity and quite hot weather, so I have to use colder plug ( #7 with additional 0.1mm shim to lower compression ) Low altitude means more air density which cause early detonation ( raspy sound but no power ). |
