The distributor for Novarossi here hasn't been told that and there's been no comms whatsoever since the shutdown in March :( I work for an Anglo-Italian company and we've been told that the Italian annual shutdown in August for summer holiday is still going ahead so I highly doubt that a 1st Aug reopening date would be plausible. Let's see! Nothing concrete so far all rumour and conjecture.

Correct. If they do indeed re-open.

If you goto the Novarossi Direct website it is closed and not accepting any orders. If you have an outstanding order with them you might want to consider speaking to your method of payment (CC company or Paypal etc).

Absolutely. Novarossi is one of the original Nitro stalwarts so absolutely gutted at these rumours. It's a huge R/C name to loose.

Sure is. I remember an old video touring the Novarossi factory and at the end they admit their business model is basically at the end of its life. With OS taking up the slack, we would basically have a monopoly. Maybe this will spawn some more budget-friendly OS engines to fill the gap that Novarossi would/could leave..

can you run the long LSN with say the GT motors or will it cause a fueling issue?

Yes indeed. Novarossi USA (aka NR Direct) is open as its the importer however the "real" Novarossi Direct factory store in Italy is closed store.novarossi.it which is rather more telling.

Hopefully the USA importer carries enough stock to keep those who need it going for the foreseeable future!
