I am looking for a good all around engine. I know there is the Tesla, Max Power, Mito. I am looking for an good club racing engine that I can also compete with on the bigger tracks and bigger races. The Mito seems to be the least expensive option.

Thanks DJ.

PS I am ordering a Cap 03 with Atomic Ron.

Those are all nova based motors and are good choices. If you are leaning with the Mito, you might consider using it with a 2660 pipe and 6 fin header. Also there is the Legend .12R, good all around motor also.

Hope you like the car. We have had a few guys switching to the Capricorn lately and they have been very happy.

What pipe and header so you recommend with the legend .12R?

I think we will. When I tell everyone what car I am getting everyone tells me good choice.

Is the performance of the legend R up there with the Mito? I know the Tesla and Max Power engines are a step above.

MITO-35GT5 $350

Available in about 2 weeks

Any more news about this new GT engine? I was expecting to see Novarossi announce it at the toy show last week or at least on their website/Facebook page if it really was on the way soon. Nothing so far! I'm in the market for new GT engines for this season and holding out on this one..

And if they do have a new GT motor, please put the right carb on it. Having an onroad carb flipped doesn't make it convenient to adjust the idle on a GT. Hope someone at novarossi is listening.

Paolo I have never seen any posting on the performance of a Mito .12. Given a choice Mito or a Vir-Tus which is the better motor to race at the Airtronic's GP in L.A. in your opinion. Or anyone else that has an opinion on these motors.

I've had both of these and the Mito is better. The VIRTUS to me lacked top end and it didn't hold tune very well particularly the bottom end. I personally didn't like the VIRTUS .12 The Mito is much more stable and the top end is back. Great motor!
