As far as Novarossi engines go, I still think the 35 Plus 21 & Flash engines were the best engines they ever made, the Kangaroo was also great! But didn't have the bottom end grunt of the later engines.

Everything after the Flash PT was questionable imho, I'm very glad of the direction Nova have taken with the Mito 35WC.

it was a bet of 4-5 years ,everybody was saying that novas will let the long stroke style engines at on road set up and that they will only work on extra long stroke ,i am glad also with their new direction with the mito 35 wc .

It's not about the conrod length, it's about the distance how far the crankshaft pin is from the center of the crankshaft rotating center..

The longer the distance of the crankpin from the center the more torque it can generate (standard physics).

Is a keepon the same as a flash .12

I have a Nova keepon .12 and I want to replace piston and sleeve. I believe a flash .12 is ts basically the same internally and my question is that true second question is if this is true will a flash .12pt piston and sleeve work in my keepon .12? Or do I need to use flash .12 piston and sleeve? I see on the pt has 3 holes under the exhaust port that the flash .12 doesn't have.

Yes, we will have them in stock shortly.

The engine is based on the WC winning 8th scale motor so it should be fast!

you need P/N 08677/11 which is the same as the FLASH PT. The older flash was slightly different 08677/10. It would fit but if you can get hold of the keep on/flash pt version then I'd stick with that.

Anyone have any experience with the Mito .12?

dj apolaro 01-24-2016 07:03 PM

Sure, what is your question?
