I think I got it. I was always told, now its a habit, to not gorilla tighten screws. Long story short, I tightened to the point where it wouldn't turn without applying force and went almost 2 more turns tighter. Haven't tested it yet, but I think it'll be good. Also as I was tightening I pushed on the other side of the pinch bolt and felt it grab the screw and squeeze the carb a lot better. |

Will a full ceramic keep on 12 be much better than on with just a rear ceramic bearing? 1 of mine is about ready for a new rod and bearings and I'm debating if its worth getting the front bearing ceramic also.

Also, what about the glowplug? Button head shims? Someone told me novarossi plugs are not so durable,so which ones are? And since its hot in Bangkok, hot as in sweaty manboobs hot, how many shims should I put in the button head?same question for which glowplug number since its hot there. My flash was slow in bangkok, and that was at 150celcius temp!

Anyone else notice the carb they show on the Ison GT is not the one most GT guys would want to use. The idle stop screw would be under the carb if you flip the carb around. I think they are using the onroad carb. It will still work but not preferred.

I would strongly reccomend the CLIO P5 for GT and Buggy. A little more bottom end and the internals are better. |

Lol yes we have noticed but it works  You should be looking at a Novarossi CLIO P5 not an ISON. Remember GT is buggy based and the Buggy motors rip! Then you can use the 5 port in your buggy too. Dude you need to look in my pit box Lol! Those 3 motors are all good in GT but they are also killer in buggy and truggy.

ISON GT has more power vs CLIO P5. However, CLIO P5 has slight upper hand in quality.....Both engines are great engines for the GT cars.....again it comes down to setup......Oh, and driving of course!

A little debate ensued Sunday that I need cleared up. Are the Nova Pre-run engines truly broke in and ready for optimum race tuning out of the box?
