I am almost positive this engine was being tested in a 747 while I was in kissimmee

Guys I saw the new INS box.if you invert the holes the other way,it should give the engine a turbo effect!

Agree? Check out the picture for yourselves

What shim should I use for 25%? Keep on .12. And should I break it in with 25

Add 0.1 - 0.2 from stock. I wouldn't recommend 25% on the .12 engines as they are designed for 16%. I certainly wouldn't break the engine in on 25%!

Still not sure im going to use 25%. Everyone where I race uses 25%. I've been happy with 16%

wow, this is news to me. I have been breaking in and racing .12's for over 15 years on 30% and never had an issue. been in nitro for over 30 years and always break in any motor (car, boat, etc) with what ever % I plan on racing with it.

nitrodude 03-21-2014 03:39 PM

You want to break in the motor with the fuel youre going to run after its broken in. Adding shims for break in? I have done it before, sometimes when the motor is really tight it helps to break it in a little faster. Ive only done it once.
