anyone know where to get gd deal for this 2 size of bearing?

7x19x5
14.5x26x6

*if initially the front engine bearing is 5mm in width, will there be any effect if i replace it with a 6mm width instead?

Thanks

I would go with the max xl9 tq it will have a little bit more power and better runtime being it is fully modded!!!!! The 35+21 have been none to hold up longer then the max .21s FYI.

I had a 35 + 21 do it. I think it comes from leaning it out too soon. You really need to break these tight ones in a LONG time and VERY gingerly.

Does anyone know what a Novarossi RER .12 Turbo engine is, or where I can find the specifications for one?

Kindest regards,

Get the latest Collari. It has the large crank pin and R7 rod plus the new long crank.

hi guys, i have a n12t1 and when i spin the flywheel with my hand i can feel its abit loose and is notchy when i get to a certain position, i suspect the bearings are shot, had a few flame outs while running which i've never had before.
does anyone know what size the bearings are? and wheres a good place to get them?

or i should just bin this cheapo motor and go for something abit better?
motor still has good pinch though.

thanks.

kai .. it should spin free and be notchy when the piston is at the top dead centre this is called pinch and its how we measure its compression.

how old is the engine?
how many litres of fuel have you put through it?
do the bearings feel notchy when you turn the crank slowly?

it could be a case of bad o rings in the carb? if so i have spare novarossi carbs from the updated 353 series engines you could try

hi mrgsr

the motor is 9 meetings old, 5 by me and 4 from the previous owner, its been thrashed so i'm just guestimating around 10L or so.
yeah i think i know what you mean by the pinch, it makes that pop sound right?
when i turn the crank slowly, about halfway between top dead centre and bottom dead centre is where i'm feeling it is notchy, also the crank has abit of play from side to side parallel to the face of the bearing.
i'll rip the carb apart tonight and see if i've got any bad orings.

thanks mate.

That sounds like dodgey bearings. which is why you are havng these tuning problems.

whats your budget for a new engine?
