Overhauling an old engine

Just acquired an old Novamega sx-21 7p-ev2 motor. I'd like info on overhauling it with new internals. Thanks.

After changing from a .15 manifold to a .12, smoke and fuel are coming up the lid of my tank, seems like there is too much pressure?? i have tryed longer pressure tube, but no better.

My tank isnt that old, 6 months?

Any suggestions??

Well finally after two weeks of rain outs we where able to race today. I ran my Murnan X12 and it was fast I was truley impressed. I still have a little tweeking to do and I think I can get more out of it I was able to drop my lap time by 1 second. I didn't have one single problem with it. I would say this is a must have engine.

I have a Nova Rossi P5 .21 and I can't locate a "Nova Rossi" piston and sleeve (Thanks Ernie :flaming: ) but I have quick access to RB parts here in Canada via CG Royal....what RB piston and sleeve would be the same if at all ?

NSR12 / Top TSR12

Can someone tell me the factory settings for the carb on these engines.

I have heard 4.5 HSN and 2.5 LSN
...and...
4.5 HSN and 3.5 LSN

The documentation doesn't say.

4.5 HSN and 3.5 LSN is what I always start out with. I have never had a problem with that setting and adjust 1/8 to a 1/4 of a turn from there.
