from what ive heard the nsr has the new microcasting process
on the piston but i'm not sure. on another note i just ordered
the new JP fx line for my sedan and will give updates on how
the motor holds up against my jp s3

Does the Batch number on the box have to match the number stamped on the engine? Is the Batch No. the serial number?

there is no difference in size, shape and design except the material of the pistons. the NSR claimed to be withstand better higher operating temp.

As Manti says . . . . and it should have "NSR3" on the cooling head.

Thanks Manti .. I'm about to order this engine from my LHS and just to make it precaution on mysite to not been cheated by them.

Yes, and the NS piston looks sort of "light grey", by comparison.

Well, so if I put a nsr piston into my ns, I would basically have a NSR12S3A1

Oh, I see, which model do you have? from my signature... I have an NS12S3A1. I have never run it yet, waiting for a delivery with the pipe so I can run it in.
