Yep the TZ is a good motor. If you liked the LL better aside from its slowdown in the middle you should try the LS tuned it has feels kinda like an LL that doesn't lose its snap around the shift point.

Iv had both the LL3 and the LS3 and found the LS3 to be the better engine for me out of the two.

Ive also just run the MF 12 3P MasMo Version 2 and this thing is just another level and would be the best buy at the min.(see link)

Default N12LS3

Guys,
I am running an N12LS3. The engine had no problem when the weather was hot. Now that it cooled down, I am having problems with the fine tuning.
When I start the engine, idle is fine. It pulls off without hesitation. Hit the top rpm on the straight or give full throttle in between and then come into the corner, it still wants to rev, the rpm doesn't drop immediately.
If I come to a full stop on the straight from high rpm, the rpm comes down but reaches a steady idle after let's say 5-10 sec.
Any suggestions where I should adjust?

Sounds lean on the top end? whats it temp at? remember you should always run a few laps and tune the engine once its at race temps

aaalp: The top end sounds too lean. The engine now needs some time to 'refill' with fuel after a full throttle burst and can't get enough fuel at its (still) high RPM to do so. If you go any leaner you will probably notice it making some sound as it starves for fuel on the straight.

The drop in RPM after idling for a while is related to this. Your bottom end adjustment probably is almost correct but takes a while to come into effect because the engine is still 'refilling'.

Try richening up the HSN by about 1/3th of a turn...

I RECOMMEND THE NOVA 12-PLUS 3CT STOCK. MOD MOTOR MIGHT HAVE DIFFICULTY MAKING 5 MINS.

Yes you can it has the same spec. and the R5 is actually an improved version of R4, you can also use R7 which is the better version of R5.
