Default picco tune engine

can any of you guys tell me a product code for the following engine i know ya cant see much from the pic but if there is one on it (which i cant find) i would like to were to look its a picco jl tuned 12
as far as i know but need product code any help would be great

what turbo glow plug would be recomended for the above link

yes im new to the nitro scene and still learning

thanks 20 smoke for that info i have a skyline vr12 pipe but the spring holes on the header pipe have worn away can a replacement pipe be got


ps: i do not know much about the cars they were a gift and pre owned

you should be able to find a replacement header but i would just make a new hole for the spring.that pipe will work but if you can find one used get it, you want be disappointed

ok so far made new holes in the header thanks 20 smoke for tip fitted it got "turbo" glow plug and have it all set up to run but i think the fella in my local hobby store which was usless to be honest sold me the wrong fuel he gave me Tornado 16% NM will i be ok to use this or is it for bigger engines????

You may try Picco no. 6 Turbo plug

I prefer Orion plugs:
ORI88825 CRF Turbo Plug No. 5 (Hot)
ORI88826 CRF Turbo Plug No. 6 (Medium)




For my experience, Picco engines need to have more head shims (from 0.5 to 0.7 mm, 16% nitro). You'd better try different shims thickness in order to get the best performance.

the 16 is fine i my self am going to go down once i have gone through my 20%,just take out one shim and you should be good.and these thing like a lot of clutch,when you get it right it hits hard and comes of the corner fast

no 20 smoke it has 2 litrs tru it and new bearings this came in the car i got pre owned from a member on this site so i take it he had it set to run ok, he was using picco P6TC plugs and 16% fuel so i guess im ok thanks to a mail i got from him today telling me

im just trying to get my head round the way there set up and hopefully get it started soon

That VR12 is a good pipe but the header material is to soft and wears out over time. Its a common problem. I've gone thru 3 headers, each with extra holes drilled on each side. Now I have three pipes, one header. I think nova has one that is compatible with the VR12.
