Default novarossi onroad engine choice??

there is not much difference in price but I cant decide either the novarossi 353 tune or novarossi 3sct tune? running in a xray NT1.
any difference in performance with these engines??
ps I cant go the murnan modified as our currency is very weak at the moment hence very expensive buying in us dollars
any suggestions would be appreciated
thanks

Both motors are good,
pricing not much differance,
either motor will get you right up there...

or ozspec modified 353

If your track is BIG, most time spent in second, then go for the 353.

If your track is smallish, most time spent in first gear, go for the 12-3sct

for 30-40 dollars more you can get the murnan.

353 tuned $440-470

murnan modified 353 $500.00

But the murnan 353 is a much overall faster motor than the 353 tuned

i have been having the same question myself about which one is more suited to my track needs. i would like to know how differently the two engines compare. which one is the smootest? i feel like my 3sct is a little bit sharp.(when i say comparinson of the two i mean the 353mmm vs 3sctmmm)

I also am wondering which engine to choose but I have the 353,3sct, and the JP Eagle 12 TL-3T. All nova based. But I just cannot choose which engine to get. Price currently not a deciding factor. I am just looking for the best engine out of the 3. Any input?

Thank you.

If your planning on getting the 353 or 3sct Murnan modified, then I'd say, forget about the JP. Between the 353 and the 3SCT there isnt much difference. I'd suggest to go with the 353 because it feels smoother than the 3SCT.

I am going to stick with the stock version because i do not need the modified for my track. Any reason why you suggest to forget about the JP?

Thanks

It depends on the size of the track that you are running on.

The mm+12sct will have the most lowend and midrange

The mm 353 will be smoother than the mm+12sct and have a tad bit more top end.

The jp eagle tl3-t will have less bottom end than the mm+12sct and the mm353 but it has a stronger midrange than the mm 353 and less than the mm+12sct but where the eagle tl3-t comes in strong is on the top end it has the most top end speed of any more on the market at this time i am telling you the rpms this motor produces is limitless. I race at 301 racway as you know are straightaway is one of the largest in the usa and we have ever motor you could think about down here but the eagle still pulls past any motor as of know it still holds the top speed record clocking in at 67-68.

mm +12sct= $500.00

mm 353= $500.00

jp eagle tl3t= $580.00-650.00
