Default Deck clearance/head shim size on Kyosho .28

I just picked up a Kyosho Inferno GT. The track by me has a spec class for these, and we run the stock .28 that comes in the kit. It's a basic RTR engine, but a fun class with all of us on the same page

Prior to any fuel, I always disassemble my engines to seal the carb and backplate. While doing this, I'm pretty sure I lost a head shim.

Before pulling it apart, I measured the deck height at .025" - it's .017" now.

Either way, what do you guys suggest as a deck height for 30% fuel?

regards-
Eric

Check out what your manufacture says. I run .90 to 1.0 when running 30%. Remember you are lowering compression the more shims you run. Your bottom will be less and your top will be more.
Most manufactureres shim their heads up to 25%. Some are stock for 30% check your manual.
