Sleeve check isn't usual, but know a case where all the engine was torn apart and checked (fuel included) because a guy broke the track record by half second.

When all was teched everything was fine, but many rumored about illegal engines. First for racing you should be fair, if not you're the first loser (no pun intended).

Yeah i know... i only get 3 port engines unless my track decides to start an outlaw class... but they do allow turbo plugs... so i might pick up a turbo head... at this point though... i just wanna get a modded engine... i cant decide if i wanna get something like this or get a jp mod... theres a local guy at my track that can get a JP moded RS12S3 for like 240-250... which is less than murnan sells his RS12S3 for... and they do alot of stuff... (and i really like the black crank case...) so what do you guys think? is it worth the extra money for an engine that doesnt have the extra stuff done to it like a jp mod?

No, they don't check our engines every weekend. But I would know it's illegal, you should be above cheating. What do you win if you won cheating? Notta.

ImportRacer> Race one, or chase one.

I would say the Mugen.
Why?

It's not distributed by Trinity.

From all of the motors that I have tested the Sirio is the fastest, but it is not as easy to tune as a Novarossi. All of my motors will run longer than 5 minutes in racing conditions, and have a significant increase in overall power. As for tunability that remains about the same as a stock motor.

Not to mention, once the engine is in need of a major rebuild, are we going to be able to turn to you and get a new sleeve? piston? etc for a good price?
