i to question EB Mods. here is the stock crank an EB Crank and a True modded Crank. EB also claims to fully balance all of this engines. Im not saying EB Mods or any modder sucks everyone mods different and their mods are for diff purposes.

BK Each engine that comes from EBMods is fully mapped out. The process of which everything is measured, mic'ed, and cc'ed. These numbers are then compared to the original R&D engine specs, to make sure that no running production changes were made at the factory. If a simple timing change is made at the factory then these calculations now need to be readjusted on the engine blueprint, and noted. This insures the highest quality control. What we do at EBMods can't be done over night. http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...d/e9f4fd87.jpg I guess this is where he balances the crank, I guess he did touch the crank. http://www.osengines.com/engines/osmg1999-4a.jpg He is correct this cannot be done overnight he made 100.00 in ten min.. |
Get hold of Rick Brake at RB Mods. I have been running his motors for the past two years with no problems at all. His mods make the motor run cooler and much improved run time. Rick mods the crank and the sleeve on all of his motors. I you currently have a motor that you want to get modded, give him a call and talk with him. Great service and fast turn around. Here is a link to his site: http://rbmods.net/

a lot has been said over the last few years about motor mods
what i have found to be true most of the time is the stock motors for the most part are very good. When people start to change the duration and timeing of a motor it will use more fuel and become harder to tune. yes it can make more power in some cases but not always, there are a few people that understand what these mods do, simply just grinding away to look like work has been done will be a hit and miss in terms of gains any time the crank is dremeled or machined to open the intake it will alter the timeing and duration and the balance, same with the sleave as far as i know only muran and jp check balance. for most people a pipe and header and getting clutch and gearing right for the track that they are at will give them the best gains |
