Why do they call it a conical header?

Why do they call it a conical header?

The pipe has some what of a cone shape but I don't see it in the header???

A conical header is smaller at the exhaust port, and bigger going into the pipe. I'ts visible to the eye on the Novarossi headers, not sure about others though.
