Default Sirio plug in Novarossi engine

For todays dumb question of the day: Does anybody know if there are any good reasons not to use a Sirio plug in a Novarossi engine? I have quite a few of the old sirio plugs going back to when Kyosho was selling the EVO 3 and EVO4 sirio .12 engines. (I believe they were made by Star). These were probably the best glow plugs out at that time. I have no idea if they seat properly, if the taper is correct etc. I want to use them in my current Nova .12 engines. If I recall back in the day they were "supposed" to be fine in Picco based engines and I used them regularly in Picco .12's but there was a common idea that they would not be quite right in a Nova. Speed up about 8-10 years and I wonder if that was a big load of garbage or if that is really the truth. Anyway, if anybody really knows I would appreciate the answer.
