I called desoto, they had me sold on one, asked for a discount sense you could get one at Absolute for 45 less, dude was cool, yeah got a 20% off coupon. Go to use it, naaa. What a kick in the balls. Only thing it would have worked on was a Nova. So it was late friday Fl time when I called and were closed when I actually tried to use coupon. Hoping that L5 Triton that looks like the V1 model works well. Why wouldn't you just take my order on the phone, I did call the sales line?

Just ordered 2 engines with 2133 pipe🤗
I think these engines looks promising and hopefully even better than my Reds!

I finally got a chance to break this engine in. It was ridiculously easy to tune and idled perfectly out the box. Seems to have great power, but I'm still breaking it in. I'll make it to the track on Thursday and see how it performs.

Did you do the break in according to the manual? If not, what method did you use?

After three tanks I start to lean it in very slowly. By the fifth or sixth tank it is trackable but still on the rich side. It general takes around 500ml of fuel to break it in. Picco's are definitely looser then nova's and break in quicker.
