Mine is just getting run in, but let me tell you: It is FAR from slow. For $309-$325 depending on seller, it's hard to beat

I saw one the other day running heads up with a JP Novarossi and a Murnan Mod Novarossi and holding his own against both of them at 301.

thats what i wanted to hear, i might just pick one up this week. what temps do they seem to be running. i had troubles tuningn motors initially. as i weant thru motors. sirio, to nova, to an x12 murnan the tuning has been drasticly improved. i love the x12 and it runs relatively cool, about 180 to 220.
can i expect this out of the ninja 12?

thanks guys

the way the head is desinged . your going to get closer reading to the plug. start around 220 then go from there.

It sounds like the motor is not actually running any hotter than others, you are just able to get the temp gun down in to the head further where all motors are hotter...does that sound right?

i wouldnt think that the head was too much shorter than the other engines out there. but if the motor is reliable and runs hotter im cool with that
