Default Odd questions

Hey just checking to see if anyone knows if the agama a215 body , will work on a associated rc8b3 chassis with some minor changes ( cuts on the body to make fit ) to the cut holes . And the wing mount setup also from the a215 to bolt on the rc8b3 . I just don't care for the body style on the rc8b3 much . Thanks for ANY info .

Default Temps

What temp should it be outside to start running the break In on my new L4 I know to use the engine heater on the engine for cold starts , But don't know if it should be around about a certain temp outside . I live in Ohio and it's about 40°F On average day in March, Should I wait for warmer weather ?

It's fine. Just keep temps at least 200F during break-in to reduce stress on the rod.
After break-in forget about temps and just tune for performance.

On the weekend l ran new L5 engine in my buggy just see how they preform and it was fantastic, it has that bottom end power you need on tight tracks and great fuel economy.

You don't need to run the caps on Tritons. We use a super high quality bearing with a special seal so they don't leak.

Default Break in method

Where can I find information on how to break in my new Triton L4 engine just kind of wondering if I should leave the needles as they are from Factory to start the break in process thanks for any info , Is the break in the same as any nitro ? I know the tuning is different is why I ask . I always idle 4 tanks then short runs on a smooth surface about 1/4 throttle then 1/2 then a few quick full throttle. Thanks

Hi Lance, I would like to know if you intend to modify the design of the engines following the current of these years (low profile, horizontal carburetor for example, lower weight, .....). Will we see a new engine design soon?. I tell you, i am very happy with the L4 engine.

Come summer time those OS engines will have a normal head on them.
