An old Graupner car had something like it, I believe with a oneway bearing as clutch bearing.

I don't know but how awesome would it be for first time Nitro users to just have to spin the tire with your hand to start the car? If a bump box is the price for servo controlled throttle and brakes (and steering too of course) I'll take that trade any day. |

That was really cool. Can't believe the car actually runs though it looks to be in poor condition.
