At mid break in now on this engine /pipe setup. Was a bit eratic at first probably due to the pinch but is starting to calm down and sit at a nice idle. Anybody run into a pingy lean sound during break in. Im sure this engine is not on the lean side at all. Not slobbery but atleast 2 hours outa race tune at this point. Runs well though and seems like a stout engine thus far.

ok.. hmm curious curiouser.... keep us updated.. 100 - 120c start up from new is ideal .. theres a connection between GO and these engines but its a OS V spec base.. so should be a sweet well priced engine none the less , in the past when running in a GO ie.. i had put the pre heating a touch up due to pinch 130 - 140 for starting and then maintain at 110 - 120...

absolutly, engine was heated to between 190 and 210f. Headed with gun then a head heater. Head covered during first 3 intervals . Used the houston break in method that has worked flawlessly for so far. Engine is ready to rip. Holds a great idle and seems to plenty for the truggy its in. Yes its is almost identical to a v.spec os.

MFG?? the guys that produce the engine?

shame they could have done well if they did care.. if thats the case..

The Arrow GTR-II Plus 3+2 p/s can also be used in the Atom Vortex engines if you want a little more power for truggy.

Where can I buy this engine? How much does it cost?
