If I remember correctly I got you to change the high speed needles on both?
I will pull both lsn's out from each engine when I'm home next and compare. Could just be a different length needle you think mate?

Yeah mate that's what I figured, interesting that.

Check how many turns it takes to screw them fully into the carb slide valve(make sure to hold the throttle open so you don't jam the needle into the mixture control valve.

Just had a look at four exploded carby pics from a early Max21VZB V-
Spec with blue carby boot, later VZB Speed 21J carb, XZB Speed and XZB Speed 2 and what I can tell you for sure is that all these engines except the XZB Speed had the exactly same metering needle and matching mixture control valve.

Note: There is a typo in the Spec 2 XZB Speed carby parts list. The "mixture Control Valve Assembly" part # should be 23781600 not 22082600(this is first XZB Speed part #).

Are there detailed instructions for break-in on this motor? The manual that comes with the motor isn't very informative.

Default Pipe for buggy

Thinking on trying this engine as it is on sale. Which OS pipe is best fit for smooth and linear feel on buggy? 2060 or 2090? Thanks in advance

I have a Nova NV41021 header and was wondering will this header work well with a o.s 2090 pipe. Will I loose anything by running this setup compared to the o.s header...Thanks

I would say give it chance and see how it runs with your engine! you have nothing to loose! I personally think 189.00 usd is ridculous for a pipe that will lose it's shine in the long run! Michael

If I remember correctly, Nova headers won't fit on the O.S.

Hello BIGTIME,

I have been using Nova 41021 Manifold for a quite long time with an OS XZ-B engines.. It will fit without any problem for racing but You should trim some of the fins that hits the bottom of Heat Sink.. Try to fit the Nova 41021 Manifold to Your OS and You will know which part that needs to be trimmed..

Cheerss..

Hello, when the engine is carbureted, as it should be the Low Needle? Flush or inside?

Thanks. Best Regards.
