Default Help, advice, and fun GRP parts

After being out of the hobby for much of my adult life I got back into the hobby and dove in head first. One of the questions I have is about set up. Is there anyone or any place that sells a book that explains off road set-up. THis year was my first year racing and I dd not pay much attension to set-up and I believe I want to take that next step. I am very happy with the GRP engines I run in my buggy and truggy but I am afraid if they break I will have no parts to repair them. Someone at the track to lold me some other company make parts for these but they did not know the name of the manufactoror. If someone knows let me know so I can sure up my engine parts box.

Can't help you with the GRP engine parts, but if you Google Xray off road set up book you can download and print it. Obviously it shows an xray in the pictures but the principles are the same. Welcome back.

That should get you the Xray Setup Book.

When your GRP Engines retire, it would be best to upgrade to a current engines. If you like the GRP, you can look at the Reds engine, designed by Mario Rossi who also was behind the GRP engines. There is also a slew of other options out there to fit any budget.

I've got (2) GRP engines for sale actually. Haven't posted them in awhile....but both are running and in great shape. 1 is a silver head GRP and the other is an Orange Head Mario Rossi Tuned version. Also have a spare conrod(new), used carb, and some O-Rings and shims ;-)

TQ Engine parts also fit the GRPs.
