Default LRP 30 Air Filter?

Anyone would like to point me to the right air filter for LRP 30 spec 2? Losi 454 air filter doesn't fit good on the said engine (very loose).

Anyone would like to share what particular air filter do you use on your LRP 30 engines?

I use a Dynamite air filter I got from my LHS. I don't think the brand matters as much as keeping the filter clean, well oiled, and secure. The opening on the carb of the .30x seems to be the same size as all the other .21 to .30 engines.

My problem is... when the air filter is placed on the carb, I can move the whole air filter up and down. Does yours have the same free play?

I'm thinking if the rubber tube doesn't seal well and might ingest some dirt

Try a fresh ziptie...if all else fails, I've never lost a filter with these:

Tightened the zip tie more to secure the filter better but I noticed the rubber getting too much tension...

Anyway just wanted to see if there's an air filter out there that fit the lrp 30 carb better (lesser free play)

I have some of those on the way to my place

The carb is like any other .21 carb so any 1/8 offroad filter should fit.

Still wasn't convinced so I took the time to measure both... it now makes sense why the air filter on LRP carb doesn't fit well (.52 mm taller)
