You can change just the needles. You need three things + o-rings: LSN, slide valve, and mixture needle. Unfortunately you also need all three size carb o-rings (the mixture is small and large size, LSN is medium).

I got the new longer LSN & mid mixture needles from Gene at HobbyProUSA and they both came with o-rings already installed on them. It was just an easy switch out from the old needles to the new ones and then do a complete re-tune of the engine. There wasn't any need to mess with the slide valve.

I dont understand why you guys are changing the needles. I have 3-4 gallons on my buggy engine with no problems and can get 10 at most tracks. 2 on my truggy and can get 12 min. Am I missing something? (I did not read the back post so was asking?)

See the above post from Gene regarding the needle change.

I agree, the engine ran great and I got excellent run times before I swapped out the needles, but with the new needles, the engine is even better and is now a breeze to tune (which I didn't think was possible).

Hi,

Thanks for the interest. We hope to be able to offer the Bullitt pipe soon. We are working with OS on speeding up the process. Hope to have a firm answer soon.

Who is making the B-2060 pipe?

It doesn't look OS based on the photos I've seen, so I am curious about the EFRA rating and if anything has been tweaked (meaning, possible better results).

The pipe is made in Italy, but it is basically the same pipe as the os 2060 only with the pressure nipple turned round.

Once os has finished with their current stock of pipes made in Japan the pipes from there on will all be made in Italy.

Hi, as Scroggie has said the pipe is being manufactured in Italy it is exactly the same as the OS pipe which is also manufactured in the same factory to the same spec. The Efra number is the same for both pipes, the 2060 is the model number.

There are no tweaks or changes to the inside of the pipe.

Thanks

maybe give the engine a go before making an opinion.

it would be more accurate. not having a go at you but its not really fair to someone trying to enter the market.

if you wanted an engine thats totally different , new case , head , internals etc etc you would be paying a price thats not really competitive. then the engine may not sell.

if its made by OS , which by the look of the carb , should be decent.

question , if its being made in taiwan why does it have made in japan on the ad ?
