Update on GXII... got the shipment information and they're indeed in process, but the holiday (Tomb sweeping day?? What the deuce??) caused Taipei customs to sit on the for a couple of days.

Anyways, they're en route, and I even have the flight tracking info. EVA Airways Flt 12.:

I sold all the mugen/xray packs the day they came in. The brick pack doesn't fit losi, but it fits kyosho, serpent, etc. I'm going to be ordering more after I ship the GXIIs. Xrc mag is going to do a review of a production GXII. Not going to send them anything other than what is actually in the shops.

Tell you what guys - be ready for some orders when the GXII´s hit the shops and tracks. These things are just going off !!

I got all my pre ordered motors out to customers and distributors on Tuesday. Since people have seen them in the flesh, and the word is out about how light weight they are, and how cool they look, the orders have been steadily coming in for more motors.

One example - A customer (a fellow RC component distributor), took his motor down to the local RC shop to show his mate. While they were looking at it in the box on the counter, a customer came in, saw it, and immediatly wanted one, so my friend sold him his . Then the guy who owns the shop rang me and ordered three. One to replace my mates and two for display in the shop. Up until that stage he was hesitant about stocking them, as he does mainly electric 1/10 with a little bit of 1/8 off-road thrown in.

It seems like the old ¨once you have seen it and held it in your hand, you have to have it¨ syndrome is alive and well with us petrol head males around the world.
I have placed another order with the factory already, as I think the see one, want one thing will run on for a couple of months after people start running them at meetings here next weekend. I certainly hope so now I have placed that order

But seriously, these motors are selling themselves - and they haven't even hit the tracks yet. I think 2011 will be a big year for GO internationally

Hi There grizz1

It was me who bought Pauls motor, and I must say it is awsome to see and feel how light it is. I was seriously looking at an RB Buggy 11 but I can get two of these motors for the price of one of them.
I cant wait to get it into my Agama A8 evo and get to a track.
A few of us at Counties have bought nitros and are loving them. We just need a bigger track, Im currently building my own on the couple of spare acres I have by my house (I dont think the wife knows what she is in for with the noise when the mates show up. Ha Ha)
Love the new GO motor!

Ha - talk about a small world

Welcome to Team GO Stu. I am sure you will find the new GXII more than a match for any motor out there. If you have any questions please don't hesistate to get in touch.
I don´t think Pauls motor had the run-in and tuning instructions included in the box (as he is a cunning old engine tuner from way back ;) ). If you want a copy they are on our web site on the Tech Tips page, or email me at [email protected] and I will send them to you. Also there is a venturi set coming for your motor (which wasn't included due to a glitch on despatch from the factory). I will have that in a week or so for you. I will give it to Paul and he can pass it on to you.

Thanks Shane

Quick question will a RB 2087 pipe work well with a go motor and what length manifold would you recomand as I have the 92mm and 98mm manifolds. I also have a 2045 pipe and standard manifold that comes with a killer 10.

To be honest I am not familiar with the RB pipes at all.
I would go for the longer manifold though, as this will generally give you more bottom end power for off-road applications.
Somebody on here may be able to give you a better idea of how those pipes will work on the GO motors. The GO EFRA 2072 is the pipe of choice for the GX and GXII motors.
