never bought a full engine from them. Have bought parts tho. And before you go ripping him remember before you took over we had no way of getting parts. Russ Jones turned go engines into a joke here in the U.S. How do you think I found massive mods? Mark was the only other way for us to get parts. And as soon as they get the site back up I will be back as a customer. Also fx hobby in Canada. Other then running my mg that was provided to me through mike at answer USA, Go engines are the only thing I run or have ever run in my race buggy's. But when it comes to parts it's all fair game in my opinion.
Now lets forward to the present;I see you are getting it together with dealers. Motomatt's online store was what I was after. He beat me to the punch. And that's what we need. A place to go pick our parts/pay/receive in a timely manner. Not go and hunt the world down for o rings. And that's some testament to the engines themselves,if the only complaint is they need parts from time to time.

understood... I'm not trying to rip him. I just want to make sure that he's sellling legitimate motors and not factory seconds. Also, I want to make sure that he's not undercutting dealers stateside. We're doing a tremendous amount of work promoting and expanding the dealer network here in the states. Texas is blowing up right now, and we're expanding out from there. Lousiana, arizona, and california are next. I'm actually going out to california this spring to personally work with several shops in socal. Probably april or so, around the time of the nats warmup.

One other thing... stay tuned for a HUGE racing-related announcement this week!

That's about the time frame I'm looking at, tax reurn time. Now I'll wait to see the reviews how the II works in a buggy. Thanks for the info.

mid-end of feb is chinese new year. NOTHING comes out of china or taiwan during those weeks. Most likely 1st week or March.

Factory drivers will have samples shortly. They're doing some last minute changes on the crank mods, so the samples got pushed back a few days.

where can i find carb/needle orings...not sure why mine are all flakie...its weird. Brand new motor GX5R

Ruune 01-25-2011 12:01 PM

since it's new, send me a PM with your address. I'll send a replacement set. I'll need you to send me your serial number though.

Also, when you're replacing them, soak them in after run oil for about 10 mins. It'll make putting them in a lot easier. There will be a small amount of them shaving off, since the fit is quite tight.

Hey guys, just wanted to stop in since I have a good bit of time on my Go Engine. I will be racing for Go Tech/Go USA for 2011 and if anyone needs any help please ask. I'll try to keep in touch here and you can also reach me on the Speed Shop thread in the nitro offroad forum.

I am also working with GO USA to do Factory Authorized "Break-ins for the Go customers. These can be purchased through us or Go Usa for a great price and we will do the hard work for you at the Speed Shop.

So far I have about 3 gallons on my GX-15 that was sent to me. It is 100% stock, has stock needles, carb, glow plug(I do suggest running OS p3) and everything else. It has ran perfectly so far. I am very pleased with the power although the 5 port may be better suited for a truck. I installed the Serpent heavy steel flywheel and I run two aluminum, two carbons to smooth it out. I am also using the included Go pipe/header.

The biggest thing I have learned people are doing is not breaking these engines in properly. So make sure to take your time and get a lot of fuel through it as it is tight from the factory. Racers will also need to make smaller adjustments on the needles.

Go has came leaps and bounds since I first noticed the engines years ago. They have a great balance of quality, performance, and cost and should for sure be a engine for a racer to look into.

My email is [email protected] if I can help anyone with anything.

Here is a video of me at my personal track, The Warehouse Raceway. It's a Go 5 port GX line, Serpent 811, Byrons 30% pro driver, JConcepts DD's. Come out and race with us!

Well just received the news my sponsor got dropped by massive mods. I still have my gen 5.5's and of course my 3 port gxr modded by racer 22. Which is an ass hauler by the way! hooked it to the 2072 pipe and am getting 23 min. run time. of course only doing the 1/4-1/2 throttle blips, but still!!!!!! can hardly wait to put in the 7 port he modded. I am still sending him my mg-66 to mod,but only one not the brand new one I have sitting here in package.

Ruune,I in no way mean any disrespect or jibber-jabble crap towards you. I would imagine with an already full time job and a health issue things are going as fast as possible. I just wanted to state what we here in the states have endured for a long time with the engine line. I myself will of course have a new go-hoII when it finally makes it here. But like a stated it's a great statement to the engine line when I have a gen 5.5 7 port with 12 gallons on it and am still using it. I have sold this past year 5 gxr engines that I bought cheap ,really only because the gen 5.5's are still going strong. But I must say I love that Gxr 3 port! Keep up the good work and know yu have friends here.
