Another great day with the new Argus engines. Four of us made the trip down to Loganville, GA, which is a great track to visit if you can. We ended up with a 1st in Pro Buggy, 1st and 5th in Open Buggy, and 3rd in Pro Truggy. I think we would have had another top 3 in Pro, but electrical failures put one of us out during the main. Truggy ran 11:25 in main!
Very cold day with temps dropping dramatically prior to the mains. We only had to make minor adjustments to keep up with the tune. All motors had absolutely no issues throughout the day. Each motor now has between 1.5 gallons and 5.25 gallons. The five gallon engine has still not been opened up, great pinch, and no issues with bearing, conn rod, etc. Looking forward to hearing others results when you get your engines in. |
Good job Richard!Congratulation to DJ Hepler too!

Looks like the snow might mess us up for next weekend. |
To be honest we were gonna go to the Colonel's classic Savannah GA.This is a race which was already on the calendar a year ago ...However i would hate if Greg wouldn't be able to have the race! After all those BS what he went through with the city!

Richard!I would say we going for sure!Unless the forecast change....I'll contact you later this week!

I think we might try to go....if weather holds out. This snow has ended chances of Zoo City running.

30% nitro is running with 0.3 or 0.4 shim?
|
For breakin we added the extra shim(.1) that comes with the engine. After break-in we remove it. This should leave you at .3 .
This is all on 30 percent fuel. Thanks Jonathan Jenkins |
