Nitro engine parts interchange ?
Does any one know of interchanges that can save some money help us all out and let a fellow racers now
|
You might have to narrow it down a bit more than that bud. What engine are we talking here? All engines are not created equal. I can't really help without knowing which engine(s) you are talking about.;)
|
any certain engines you have in mind?
a few are..... GO engine parts will work with novarossi OS AND NINJA GRP AND TQ AND NINJA, there are many that interchange. |
I was thinking like a junk yard interchange list to help

Novas replacement parts are also 5-10x the price of go engine parts. I can buy a new con rod for $13 and a new piston and sleeve for $60-70. |

Go engines are basically just a copy of a nova P5, so almost all go parts will fit in nova P5 based engines. That includes P/S/R, Crank and bearings. Go parts are lesser quality so be careful with that. I wouldn't recommend mixing and matching if you don't have a lot of experience working on nitro engines.;)

where do you read that GO parts are lesser quality? please post link! just because they are affodable doesent mean they are less quailty. please post link that states your opinion
There's an old saying about a 1: Cheap, 2: High quality, 3: High performance engine... Pick two as you can't have all 3. From what I've seen, it is 100% accurate.;) |

I have experience with both brands. Nova is really hard to beat quality wise. You really don't want to get into this battle. I'm not going to get into a pissing match over it. All I will say is that novarossi is known for their quality. They aren't my favorite engine brand, but there's no arguing with their quality. Go engines are decent, but no where near the quality of novarossi engines, but like you said, they are more affordable than novarossi engines.

no harm meant, just thought you may have a link that states any facts about GO quailty. would like to read up about it.
I know you've owned both brands of engines. What's your take on the quality of those in question?;) |

I'm sure you could find one somewhere. I'm not gonna search for it though. Oh wait... Is that sarcasm I sense?:lol: I'll let ya know when I write a book about GO quality.;)
