Default Piston cleaning

I dont know if any of you remember that thread a few weeks ago where some guy was asking how to clean the top of his piston?
Well one guy said he uses toothpaste and a toothbrush and today i tried it and all I can say is WOW! My piston looks brand new! All the Carbon build up is gone and I didnt hurt the top of the piston one bit. If you guys have not tried this method I highly recommend it. i used Aquafresh

drop the carb clean and try the toothpaste. It took 3 minutes and was completely non abrasive with a soft bristle tooth brush

I'm gonna have to try this James! Sounds like a great idea. One question, how many times a day do I do this?

Nice

That depends on your flavor of fuel and your ability/inability to properly tune your engine

To clean "sensitive" engine, don't forget to use Sensodyne..

...especially if your piston experienced any pitting from being run too lean

Well i like a dirty mouth but sometimes i get orbit bubble gum.... lol, but does the carbon build up do anything really or is it just a bother to some? I dont really think it hurts anything but if im doing a tear down/ cleaning i alway just use a rap and engine degreaser. Seems to do the job...
