Alpha S852. Runs with the best. 10 min run times. Half the price. Ive got almost 4 gallons on mine. Still runs like new........ Im still workin on Frank, hes got O.S. stuck in his head. Although I have to admit the .25 does rip. Frank you racin R/C pro this weekend or you waitin for Norcal.......
Unfortunately they aren't worth half the price. I went from go tech, alpha, and now os speed :deathstar... If you want an agricultural, all out brute powered engine, then maybe go for the alpha or go tech but you WILL be slower around the track. |
there really is no "BEST"....it's more about, what "YOU" like best and what feels good to you.

Clockwork Racing modded B5. Powerful, smooth, and the best mileage and power under the sun, out of any engine I've owned or raced against...my last tank went over 16 minutes ( I'm a little rusty and did manage to crash alot, the track was dry and dusty, and I spun out alot, but drove it hard to see how runtimes would be) I consistently get 15 minutes tanks with this mill and CRE Fuel, when my tune is spot-on.
It'll idle all day long, and usually starts with a quick blip, and is a happy tuner. |

I know it sounds outrageous, but I did put up a 15 minute one tank video on Youtube last night..I had to cut it down to 15 from 16:20 ( when I shut the engine off, it still had a bit of fuel left in the tank ), to fit within Youtube's time limitations. The track was dry and dusty, so we crashed and spun alot and drove like cornholes, but it was fun:D:lol::D Clockwork Racing Modded B5 |

b5 with 2013 makes really good power and gets 10 mins in truck pretty easy, another good choice would be ninja jx with eb button and 2060

p5xlt with 9853ss/41021 , awesome combo
get it "tuned" with silicone filled crank and you will be in love  |
Get an EB Mods JS or the race prep. They are good, solid egines under $350. And they are winning races!!:tire:
