I know what you meant...
I will apply these mods to the rebuilt engine I send back to you...so this will be your engine in the end....But not this exact one on the dyno...this one is a hand lapped C6 L2G... I still have some more testing with a older C6 piston/sleeve I had done...I think its going to make even bigger numbers, but it may give up a little bottom doing it....right now I have 5 C6 piston sleeve sets and 4 usable C6 cranks....

I think these are all wicked engines guys... We really only run the modified versions, but every single one is impressive in its own right.....I thought the new OS was KILLER...the motor ran phenomenal for us..one of the best engines we have ever run IMO........ I also love the feel of the B5, its phenomenal. one of the best engines I have run.... I also loved the feel of my last C6, its was also one of the best engines I have ever run..... I also love the feel of my modified Picco .21's, another killer engine..one of the craziest .21's I have ever run, and definitely one of my favorites...... As I say, they all make very similar power if your into drag racing down the straights, but they each feel and behave differently on the track...Every single one is a killer engine, that I will promise you.....If you prefer OS,RB,Picco or Werk's it doesn't matter to me, as I feel all 4 are very strong choices.......And no matter which one you prefer I have the ability to improve each one.... I hold no favorites.... Tho I will say dealing with a company like Werk's definitely ads huge value to their products, very few of the engine companies are as hands on and available like Ron is....

Whatever the dyno says the OS will still win on the track. I wish there was a tool that could test the drivability and feel of an engine in the real world, but that doesn't exist yet. I was shocked to see the numbers the OS put out right out of the box. For an engine that doesn't really focus on all out power, but more on smoothness of the powerband, usable power and fuel mileage. I'll still take the OS any day of the week and have no problems paying for it. Like Frank said awhile ago, there's people that are looking for a bang for the buck deal and those of us that want the best. OS has been the standard by which all engines are compared for years and even to this day, in this very thread we are still comparing everything to the OS speed. Has to be a reason for that.

Your first post was about how your $499 Speed II engine "smokes" our $199 dollar B5engine on the dyno. Then lo and behold a graph appears of our $229 B6 engine "stock" making more HP and more torque than your Speed II and now all of a sudden we get the "whatever the dyno says the OS will still win at the track" kinda statements lol because now dyno graphs all of a sudden don't matter to you lol. Reality of the matter is we just had the worlds and well, OS did not win at the track. They lost to an Orion engine that comes out of the same factory as our (to use your words) "bang for the buck deal" engines. Interestingly enough if I'm not mistaken even though OS I believe accounted for some 30+ percent of the engines at that race we also managed to beat 99% of those there with our "bang for the buck deal" engine with only 1 OS coming in ahead of us. Now that they are not on top with the HP you now go on to talk about how OS focuses on smoothness of power band, usable power, fuel mileage etc. etc. Reality of the matter is if you want smoothness of the power band it does not get any smoother than the chart of our B6 with the 2057 pipe, it's nearly a perfect parabolic arch, no peaks, no valleys just smooth power. Looks a lot smoother than the graph of the Speed II I have to say!
I have no problem with you or others being loyal to your favorite brand but please do not try to convince people that your product is better simply based on your own personal opinion, try using some facts. Frankly if you do that then there is not much that you can really bring to the table in a conversation comparing the Speed II to our B6 other than it is awful expensive and they used to win races with their previous model in the past, that's about it.

See it's these type of posts that make me laugh

I've never been one who really cares about all out HP. I'm more about the powerband of an engine and how that engine feels on the track. The truth is I really don't care what the dyno says. Dyno results don't show the whole story, not even close.
You keep talking about the worlds as if YOU won. You DIDN'T! An Orion engine won. Yet you keep mentioning that your engines and Orion engines are made in the same factory(Star). I think we all know that. What does it matter?? You have been very clear in the past that your engines aren't just some off the shelf Star motor, that they're completely different designs of their own. But now that an Orion won the Worlds, they are the same??? Sorry they aren't!

BTW all of your comments make me laugh. I guess you still haven't learned to just STAY OUT OF IT! Your comments don't help anything. If anything they just make you look bad.

What I posted initially was the truth. Comparing the two graphs that I posted, the speed stomped on the B5. I was actually shocked to see such low numbers come out of the B5. The new graphs that Neal posted show the kind of numbers I expected out of the B5. But looking at those two graphs that I was commenting on, yeah, the B5 got stomped on the dyno. I was talking about dyno numbers ONLY when I posted that. That doesn't mean I think dyno results are what determines a good engine. It just meant that I was responding to a post asking about dyno numbers.
