we will have them ready this week.......... I Just had to make a few small tweaks to my molds...............We should be good to go now...... There definitely is a fair amount of technical involvement in injection molding LOL !

What kind of machine are you using ? You are right about the Tech stuff. Looks good though. Congrats!

Hi Neal, Just sent my B01a to get clocked! You should receive it tomorrow but you do have to provide a signature because I sent it via Canada post priority.

What techniques are being used to fix the venturis in place? I wouldn't feel comfortable just pressing them in and hoping they don't rotate

hambone 05-13-2013 11:53 PM

They're held in place with o rings just like what we're used to brother Tom. Long time no see buddy!

The inserts fit quite tight......once they are put in they are not moving unless you move them

I will have a few sets of pre-production inserts available maybe tomorrow.........

Thank you for the nice words...... it was definitely a pile of work to get the project to this stage.... All the research, all the prototypes, all the testing.....setting up the injection machinery.... designing and building the molds...hiring a patent engineer then developing the patent...all in all tho it was a an awesome experience !!!

Motorman007 05-14-2013 01:56 PM

Thank you

How many Timmies did it take to figure out? LOL!

Did you design the machine? Would be interested to see it. I have been in the Quick Mold Change business on and off since 95. Friend is still a project manager for a company that makes custom mold change equipment.

Got my Clocked B6 Pro put in buggy and ran two tanks thru it. It's time to tune it and was wondering what is the best way to approach tuning it for racing. Should I go with LS first or HS? I know that at full throttle you should have some smoke coming out of the pipe but that's pretty much it. I've heard people mention a 3 second rule and a 10 second rule but don't have a clue what they mean. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Neal, did you receive my engine? The B01a
